Z827's Clannad Game Review

Clannad

Rated: 9

This is a Review of Clannad ( Visual Novel )
A re-review of Clannad - since my old review didn't do it justice.
Generally , the idea of this game is that it makes men cry a bucket , women would use up all their tissue boxes and children would...
..... Forget it.
Despite this being a "galge game" , which makes it suitable for male players , female players may want to consider trying this Visual Novel as it isn't solely about the protagonist hitting on the girls but the struggles the characters faces and overcome.
Clannad is essentially a mixture of comedy , drama and tragedy.
Making the audience laugh and grin , then shed some tears and smile again. Funnily enough , the process repeats itself even after finishing a route once.

Z827's Metal Gear Solid Game Review

Rated: 9

This is a Review of Metal Gear Solid : Peace Walker
Metal Gear Solid : Peace Walker have lived up to it's SOLID name.
Fascinating plotline which makes the player think about the war , the fine line between peace and war - as well as the price of peace in itself. The political struggles , actual theories of war brought into place and nuclear deterrence - that in itself had made this tale an invaluable experience.
Oh , did I mention that this game - too - bears plenty of humor and Easter Eggs? The side-missions and some of the documents can really bring a smile to the player's face - both new and old fans alike.

Z827's Gundam Assault Survive Game Review

Rated: 7

This is a Review of Gundam Assault Survive
As usual with Gundam games , this one does not feature a new storyline but more or less is a summary of the Gundam series it features.
The main selling point of this game is that combat feels generally more "free" as compared to the Gundam games you find on the console as the player is no longer limited to "spamming their bullets on a target" for there are geographical advantages in the battlefield and there is also the option of fighting in various locations. Ranging from fighting across the friction of the water to the freedom in space.
This game also features a large amount of suits in the game. Ranging from the famous ZAKU II to the notorious Hi-Nu Gundam , as well as appearances of other Mobile suits such as the Xi Gundam.

Z827's Sengoku Rance Game Review

Rated: 6

This is a Review of Sengoku Rance
Harem game.
Yeah , that's it , Harem game.
Well , sure the game offers great flexibility in it's plotline and all but the plotline in itself isn't exactly strong - nor are the characters remarkable in terms of their personality and traits.
The only reason why'd you ever play the game is either for the flexibility of the storyline to get the girls you want or to get as many girls you want in a single game.
That is why this is one of the ultimate Harem games - though I have to admit strategy is involved in this game so blindly charing into your enemy's lands is an equation to suicide and a ticket to the Game Over screen.

Z827's Shingetsutan Tsukihime Game Review

Shingetsutan Tsukihime

Rated: 8

This is a Review of Tsukihime
Is it wrong to shed manly tears over such a beautiful game?
I believe not , Tsukihime is like a roller-coaster ride , tossing you into tears , fear , anguish and pain.
In deep contrast to it's spin-off , Fate/Stay Night - Tsukihime is no where near the levels of epic in terms of plotline standards.
But it does bear one thing which Fate/Stay Night never had - a deep , saddening beauty which enshrouds itself - no , a strange , soft happiness but also a deep sadness which grips firmly upon it's plotline.

Z827's Mobile Fighter G Gundam Tv Review

Mobile Fighter G Gundam

Rated: 6

This is a Review of Mobile Fighter G Gundam
The embodiment of cheesiness , the embodiment of frightening amount of cheesiness , the very concentration which can make your hair stand on it's ends in utter manly embarrassment is none other than G Gundam!
Well , G Gundam is perhaps off the list of most Gundam fans owing to it's incredibly cheesy storyline and concept ( It's literally coated with cheese... and the fillings are cheese , too ) .
The more I look at this Anime , I seriously wonder what BANDAI was up to.
Gundam was filled with epic storylines , deep warfares , undeniable rivalries , sacrifices and pain.... and there we have it , something that sticks out like a sore thumb,
But in some ways , it is a very enjoyable "sore thumb" we'r talking about here.

Z827's Taimanin Asagi Game Review

Rated: 5

This is a Review of Taimanin Asagi
This Visual Novel is... perhaps... more suited for people with a more... sadistic taste for things.
It is morally distasteful and ethically wrong and it is without a doubt any woman would be disturbed more than being angered by such a game. It's disturbing , warped up but it's certainly not the worst there is.
The plotline is almost non-existent as it wraps itself around one H-Scenario after the other , I really doubt there's even a ten minutes gap in between all those H-Scenarios.
If I must say so myself , this game is simply meant for men whom have a liking for more extreme content - but not to the state of which it would numb the mind of average individuals.
For those who can't stomach such things , avoiding it is advised.

Z827's Koihime Musou Game Review

Rated: 8

This is a Review of Koihime Musou
Waddya know , this Visual Novel was unexpectedly good in comparison to what I had expected it to be like.
Well , sure , it can be perverted at times - but heck , at least it isn't a 24/7 matter like in it's Anime counterpart and nor is it quite as boring.
Storyline-wise it may be somewhat average but the artwork , unique concept and the fact that they've altered history in such a "horrible and horrendous" way is simply... amusing.

Z827's Love Plus Game Review

Rated: 6

This is a Review of Love Plus
Well , firstly , if your a girl don't even bother trying this :P
This is a Dating Sim which bears a great focus on the male audience... and I must say that the developers knows how to play with a man's heart.
I hate to admit it but I find my heartbeat increasing at certain events , turning beet red at romantic scenarios and feel my soul floating in the air with the unbearable doses of moe in this game.
The interactive levels of this game only strengthens your addiction to it.

I've never expected a Dating Stimulation to hold such a firm grip on my attention.
Ahh... As a warning : Try it on your own risk.

Z827's Saya no Uta Game Review

Saya no Uta

Rated: 9

This is a Review of Saya no Uta
A disturbing tale that packs true love , deaths , a dark morality basis , fear and a way to break the sanity of the player themselves into a single , mind-warping tale.
Gore alone isn't the reason why the player would feel sick from playing this game. The way the story twists love , the lives of others and morality alone is enough to send your own sanity to the brink.

It isn't an understatement that you would feel your mind going dull and numb whilst playing this game and I find myself taking breaks from it , time to time despite the fact that this ought to be a very short game.
This tale is not as simple as "good and evil" .
