Z827's RahXephon Tv Review

RahXephon

Rated: 7

This is a Review of Rahxephon
Other than the fact that the Anime had the feeling of being a "forced philosophy" Anime, the concept itself, the music, the interesting relation between the protagonist and the heroine and most of the side-characters really did save this series from plummeting into failure.
The entire series was something which you'd grow to dislike and love at the same time, filled with plenty of flaws but with enough strengths to pull you right back into the entire series itself and balance the whole series out.
Whilst it is filled with flaws, it's not something your likely to forget anytime soon.

Z827's Carnival Phantasm Tv Review

Carnival Phantasm

Rated: 6

This is a Review of Carnival Phantasm
Whilst being a comedy and all , it is heavily recommended that the audience have a base knowledge of both Fate/Stay Night and Tsukihime to fully enjoy the comedy potential of this series.
Not that story elements play a progressive role in the plot - which is almost non-existent to begin with but the fact that some jokes requires the audience's knowledge from their respective series to even understand such jokes in question.
Consider this Anime a "dream come true" for any Type-Moon fan.

Z827's Mobile Suit Gundam: Universal Century Tv Review

Mobile Suit Gundam: Universal Century

Rated: 8

This is a Review of Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam
Political corruption , a darker setting , impressive animations and well-built characters - what really kept this series from being perfect is how some of the characters behave at times. ( Kamille was badly affected by his parent's situation , and not his fellow crewmates? Seriously? )
Other than that , the series is well-executed and it had brought back old casts not as a manner of fan-service but to show the audience how they had fared after the One Year War and the struggles that Amuro was experiencing.
Ignoring the flaws which rarely bumps up in the series , this is one heck of a Gundam experience.

Z827's Mobile Suit Gundam 00 Tv Review

Mobile Suit Gundam 00

Rated: 6

This is a Review of Gundam 00 : Awakening of the Trailblazer
Generally speaking - I'm not amused.
Whilst the movie may had a memorable final scene as with any other Gundam movies , the general plot , the deviation from the previous installments and the flimsy build-up really makes it a nasty slap in the face for those whom were anticipating this film.
Whilst one may argue that it's a film made to broadcast the importance of understanding each other and what not , it is undeniably poorly executed with zero immersion compared to the previous installments.

Z827's Kamitori Alchemy Meister Game Review

Rated: 8

This is a Review of Kamidori Alchemy Meister
Well , the reason of which you would play this Visual Novel is not for the plot - which is somewhat substandard - but the gameplay.
It's like playing those old-school RPG which is brimming full of content - you can't stop playing because you WANT to unlock every single thing hidden in this game and it's not just for the CGs but also to unlock new characters for your party and hone them to have the very best stats as offered in the game.
Strangely enough , this Visual Novel offers better qualities as a RPG than a Visual Novel so if your looking for something better than Utawarerumono or Tears to Tiara in terms of the RPG element - this is your cake.
As for the storyline however... well , it's simply above-average.

Z827's Eve no Jikan Tv Review

Eve no Jikan

Rated: 7

This is a Review of Time of Eve
A surprisingly good Anime with tons of potential - but lacking the episodes to bring forth that potential in question.
It is a disappointingly short Anime and the story feels as it abruptly ends with an empty conclusion.

It's beautiful and relaxing to watch but the rushed plot and abrupt ending is one of the major elements which had butchered the overall value of this Anime.
The audience wants more - they desire to know what would happen next , what would happen between the protagonist and his Android and whether the tell-tale signs of romance would bloom - but snap , the Anime ends before you know it.

Z827's Maji de Watashi ni Koi Shinasai! Game Review

Rated: 8

This is a Review of Majikoi! ( Visual Novel )
Another re-review in my pursuit for perfection... *cough*
Majide Watashi ni Koi Shinasai! is a Visual Novel with light plot elements so the player wouldn't need to struggle to keep up with anything too complex to understand but it does feature a large cast of vibrant , happy , funny and memorable characters which is pretty much the selling point of this Visual Novel.
It does not quite feature quite as much drama as other Visual Novels - nor does it have any form of suspense and I can't really say it's particularly romantic - but I can say that you'd love this game for it's characters and the bond that they share.

Z827's God Eater Game Review

Rated: 8

This is a Review of Gods Eater Burst
Despite the unstable flow of the general storyline - Gods Eater has featured a unique "structure" which serves as the foundation of the plot and a cast of characters whom you can't help but fall for.
Whilst it's not exactly perfectly made - the strengths of this game is great enough for one to overlook it's faults.
You'd be looking at this game like an uncle surveying his favorite nephew.
Still , admittedly , the game have it's repetitive moments and like I said , the flow of the story as a whole isn't wonderfully done.
Either way , it's a game with both significant strengths and equally significant flaws.

Overall ( Others )

Gameplay
What this game needs is a wider variety of monsters.

Z827's Macross Frontier Ova Review

Macross Frontier

Rated: 8

This is a Review of Macross Frontier : Sayonara no Tsubasa
Whilst certain elements of the plot is certainly rushed owing to the time constraints of a movie and the Movie just doesn't really end with much of a bang to it - Sayonara no Tsubasa bears a stronger forte in the bonds between Arata , Ranka and Sheryl and it brings all the plot elements of the previous series into one package to tie it up neatly in a single movie package.
The Mecha battles were also drastically improved and the dogfights grew more intense over time as the characters weave , spin and blast their way through their foes.

Z827's Macross Frontier Game Review

Macross Frontier

Rated: 8

This is a Review of Macross Triangle Frontier
Macross Triangle Frontier is a crossover game of the Macross universe - bearing heavy elements from - as you can see - the Macross Frontier series.
It's unique elements and exceptional graphics had earned it's place as one of the best Mecha games on the PSP. Even if your not fond of the Macross series , the smooth animations may just make the cut - for it is a rarity amongst PSP Mecha games.
However , interestingly enough , Macross Triangle Frontier does not seem to have a great focus on it's machines but it's characters.
Still , this game features pretty much everything from the Macross series.
